Inspired by a Travel-Loving Companion

Skiva Tails was born out of a deep bond with a four-legged adventurer—our beloved German Shepherd, Dodo. He wasn’t just a pet; he was family. Whether it was a garden stroll, a mountain hike, or a spontaneous road trip, Dodo was always ready to go. But traveling with him wasn’t always easy.

Every car ride brought its own chaos—muddy paws, flying fur, spilled water bowls, and that constant worry of keeping the back seat clean. Like many Canadian pet parents, we tried every product under the sun: flimsy car seat covers, leaky water bottles, uncomfortable mats. None made the cut.

So we created our own.
